Welcome to Our New Team Members!
We are excited to welcome two outstanding individuals to our team at SARTRAC. Their diverse backgrounds and expertise will enrich our efforts and help us achieve new aspects of our work with seaweeds and the schools across Mexico, Jamaica, Ghana and the UK.
Gloria Notarangelo
Gloria joins us with a BSc in Marine Biology with Oceanography from the University of Southampton. Her passion for marine ecosystems is evident through her extensive experience in running educational activities and citizen science projects. Gloria is particularly interested in policy and science communication, with a focus on making science engaging and accessible to all. Her dedication to these fields will be super useful to our team.

Maleeha Mahmuda
Maleeha has just completed her fourth year in Environmental Science at the University of Southampton. Her academic interestes are centered around socio-environmental research and environmental education. Outside of her academic interests, Maleeha enjoys playing badminton and going on nature walks. Her enthusiasm for environmental education and research will bring fresh perspectives to our projects.
